Trading terms of sale
Extract from Trading terms and principles of sale and from Transport regulations of company eurobus, a.s.
1. In regular international bus transport, the contract on transport of passengers is closed by payment of the ticket /further only ticket/. At on-line purchase of the ticket, the transaction is finished by confirming e-mail.
2. The ticket is issued for the name of passenger and is non-transferable.
3. At the moment of purchase of the ticket, the passenger has in the bus a reserved seat for the date given on the ticket, without specification of seat. If the passenger does not take the seat until the departure, it can be taken by another passenger. With OPEN-ticket, the passenger is obliged to reserve the date of return journey beforehand in sufficient advance time in any sales point or at the dealer of company eurobus, a.s.. Contact details are published at www.eurobus.sk in part Sales points. If the passenger does not reserve date of return journey, he will be transported only in case of free seat in the bus. The validity of OPEN-ticket is 6-months.
4. The passenger will be accepted for transport only if he provides a valid ticket issued for his name at boarding the bus. The driver is entitled to check data given on ticket according to data given in ID. The passenger, who bought on-line ticket, is obliged to print it before his/her journey and provide it to the driver. The part marked as “Confirmation for passenger” or the confirming e-mail on payment and booking registration of the ticket will not be accepted as a ticket.
5. Change of data on the ticket is not permissible. If any changes are found, the passenger will be excluded from the transport and legal acts will be taken against him/her.
6. If the passenger cancels the ticket and asks for refund of the fare, a cancellation fee will be charged according to valid cancellation terms.
Tickets sold through the internet can be cancelled only in office Košice, or based on written request sent to the address of company eurobus, a.s., Staničné námestie č. 9, 042 04 Košice. Before sending the request together with not used ticket bought through the internet, it is necessary, after log-on to on-line sale of tickets, to make preliminary cancellation of the ticket. You can request the same also by phone +421 55 68 07 306 or at dealer on the territory of the Slovak Republic.
Thus the cancellation fee is registered to the ticket according to valid cancellation terms. These are the following:
a) Ticket cancelled personally or by phone more than 48 hours (24 hours valid for lines to Czech Republic) before departure of the line from the boarding stop – 20 % cancellation fee is deducted from the fare.
a) Ticket cancelled personally or by phone less than 48 hours – up to 2 hours (less than 24 hours – up to 60 minutes - valid for lines to Czech Republic) before departure of the line from the boarding stop – 50 % cancellation fee is deducted from the fare.
It is not possible to cancel the ticket after departure of the line! Unexpected, extraordinary cases will be considered individually also based on written request with provision of trustworthy document. If the passenger breaks the regulations or laws of transit or destination countries, or if he/she was detained by customs or passport authorities, the fare is not returned. Non-used lines are not refunded.
7. The passenger is obliged to follow the instructions of the operator concerning luggage transport. The terms of luggage transport valid for specific line are given directly under schedule or pricelist of the specific line and can differ on particular lines. Schedules and pricelists are published on www.eurobus.sk in part International transport. Reclamation of lost or damaged luggage must be carried out by passenger immediately after transport and confirmed in written form by the driver of the line. Further terms of reclamation are specified in Reclamation rule published on www.eurobus.sk in part International transport.
8. For luggage transport are applied terms valid on the day of transport (not valid on the day of ticket purchase). The operator is also authorised to change the operation or terms of transport.
